Breakthrough Stars of 2014 - Tobias Harris

Forward Tobias Harris leads my list of potential breakthrough stars for the coming season. He was sensation following his move from the Bucks down to Orlando with a 30 point, 19 rebound showing against his old club in April the highlight of a bright few months for a bright young star. The Bucks seem to suffocate their rising stars - we'll get to John Henson later in this list - and Harris has shown the world what he can do since joining this young Magic outfit. I expect the Magic to progress nicely this season with the likes of Mo Harkless and and Nicola Vucevic likely to get better this coming season. Harris will also have potential rookie of the year Victor Oladipo setting him up. Harris' stats reel since joining the Magic is impressive reading: 17.3 ppg, 8.5 rpg, 1.37 bpg. That is an excellent platform to build on for the coming season. His attitude is another reason to believe he will excel this season. He is, and always has been, a basketball fanatic. His 6am weight-room workouts have improved his physicality to the level of an elite star and he has been working with Hall of Famer George Gervin over the summer. His shot is sweet, his size is great, his mindset is that of a winner. Harris is going to (surely) take Glen Davis' spot in the lineup and he won't look back. A huge season lies ahead for the young man, believe me when I say he'll be worth looking at as soon as pick No.4 on your fantasy team. The sky is the limit for this guy.
